Our research goal is to study, explore, and develop advanced multifunctional materials to enable performance-improved multidisciplinary applications (e.g., energy harvesters, secondary batteries, transparent conductive films, wearable devices, soft actuators, self-healing materials, high-heat-flux films, anti-bacterial/viral films, etc.) by using facile, inexpensive, and scalable fabrication processes.

우리 연구실은 첨단 다기능성 나노소재를 기반으로 에너지, 전자, 환경, 바이오 분야 등에 활용가능한 나노소재 및 소자에 관한 연구를 진행 중에 있습니다.

특히, 쉽고 저렴하며 실용적인 나노공정을 바탕으로, 산업 전반에 활용가능한 일차원 나노소재에 관한 연구를 중점적으로 진행하고 있습니다.

Mar 29, 2024: Juhyoung is selected as a recipient of NRF Research Subsidies for M.S. Candidates.

Mar 11, 2024: So Hyeon joins our lab as Undergraduate course student.

Mar 5, 2024: Our paper has been accepted  from Adv. Fiber Mater.

Feb 01, 2024: Chan Song joins our lab as Master-PhD integrated course student.

Jan 15, 2024: Gabriel received the best presentation award from the 2024 ICCMME held in Singapore.

Jan, 2024: Sung An and Yoon A join our lab as Master-PhD integrated and Master course students, respectively.


We are currently seeking students for Master and PhD courses in our lab. Students with understanding of material-, mechanical-, or chemical engineering are highly encouraged to apply. In particular, those who are highly self-motivated and have independent and creative thinking will be welcomed!
